Electric vehicle manufacturer Revolt Motors has expanded its electric motorcycle lineup in India with the launch of the RV BlazeX, a new commuter-focused model priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, ex-showroom. Bookings for the bike are now open with a token amount of Rs 500, while deliveries are set to commence in the first week of March 2025. The motorcycle also comes with a three-year warranty or 45,000 km coverage, whichever comes first.

Revolt RV BlazeX: Design and features

The RV BlazeX sports a minimalist commuter-friendly design. It features a round LED headlamp with sleek turn indicators, a compact windscreen, and a sculpted fuel tank area that accommodates the removable battery pack. Moreover, it gets dual-tone graphics on the extended tank shrouds to add a sporty touch. Other highlights include a raised handlebar, single-piece seat, and grab rail for the pillion. At the rear, it gets arrow-shaped LED taillights.
On the tech front, the BlazeX comes with a 6-inch LCD instrument cluster offering smartphone connectivity features like Geo-Fencing and Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. It also includes a front storage box and an under-seat charging compartment.

Revolt RV BlazeX: Performance and charging capabilities

The RV BlazeX is powered by a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering an IDC range of 150 km per charge. The bike is available in two colour options: Sterling Silver Black and Eclipse Red Black.
With a top speed of 85 kmph, the BlazeX offers three riding modes along with an additional Reverse mode. The suspension setup includes telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Disc brakes on both wheels with a combi-braking system perform the braking duties.
Another key highlight of the RV BlazeX is its dual charging capability. The battery can be charged via a standard three-pin socket using either fast or regular charging. With fast charging, the battery reaches 80% in just 80 minutes, while standard home charging takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to achieve the same level.
