The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will conduct the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination (CCE) 2025 on June 8, with the aim of recruiting candidates for 262 vacancies across various state government departments. The application window will remain open until April 29, while the deadline for fee payment is May 1, 2025. Admit cards for the prelims will be available for download from May 15 to May 19, 2025, on the official website, apsc.nic.in.
Candidates must note that admit cards will not be sent via post, and all necessary examination details, including centre address and exam day instructions, will be included in the e-admit card.

APSC CCE 2025: How to apply

Candidates interested in applying for the examination can follow the steps below:
Step 1. Visit the official APSC website, apsc.nic.in.
Step 2. Click on the link for “Combined Competitive Examination 2025” under the recruitment section.
Step 3. Register yourself using a valid email ID and mobile number.
Step 4. Fill in the application form as guided by the portal.
Step 5. Submit the form and download a copy of the submitted application for future reference.

The APSC CCE Prelims 2025 examination is scheduled to be held on June 8 in two shifts—Shift 1 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for General Studies Paper 1 and Shift 2 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for General Studies Paper 2. The exam will be conducted across 35 district headquarters in Assam. As per the commission’s guidelines, requests for a change in the exam centre will not be entertained under any circumstances. The e-admit card will carry all essential details, including the allocated exam centre, shift timings, and exam-day instructions.
